[yast-devel] A couple of interesting software managers
Hi there, For those who may not be aware what's out there, here's a couple of software managers I find interesting: The one from Mandriva 2009: http://yast2-gtk.googlegroups.com/web/Mandriva-2009.png I liked how they chose to use big icons for the categories window and it works quite well. The one from Suse studios (Jakub Steiner mentioned it): http://yast2-gtk.googlegroups.com/web/studio-kde-4.3.png It's not a simple bare bones software managers (like the webpine UI). It does have a repository filter and whole lot of nice stuff. -- Cheers, Ricardo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
And the hive of flags I'm using: http://groups.google.com/group/yast2-gtk/web/techno-single.png /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base sw_single gtk --dynamic-sidebar=y --status-side=y --status-tabs=n --action-col-label=n --single-line-rows=y --colorful-rows=y --details-start-hide=n The hit numbers come useful. If we do opt for the status-tabs, it's something to consider showing in the tabs. -- Cheers, Ricardo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
Ups, wrong list. -- Cheers, Ricardo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
