[yast-devel] SuSEFirewall2 is dead, long live SuSEFirewall2!!
As you already should know we are replacing SuSEFirewall2 by firewalld. Yeah, probably you have noticed that but if it was not the case then could be a great moment to take a look at this sprint report: https://lizards.opensuse.org/2017/12/07/highlights-of-yast-development-sprin... In the previous sprint and also in current one I have been working in AutoYaST adaptations and also in the CWMFirewallInteraces module which basically provides us a set of widgets definitions to enable services or ports in our firewall zones. So, if you are interested I have added some documentation in this repository: https://github.com/yast/yast-firewall IMPORTANT NOTE: I would also like to mention that not only YaST modules need to be adapted using the new 'firewalld' API but also the packages which were shipping SuSEFirewall2 service files will need to provide a suitable firewalld service file. Hi Knut, Nicely done. Thanks a lot for your great help on the corresponding change/review in yast2-cluster/yast2-drbd/yast2-geo-cluster. Best regards, Nick
