[yast-devel] GSOC - REST API for testing applications based on libYUI
Greetings, My name is Harry Pantazis, I'm a CS student from Greece. I have various coding and system administration experiences. I've participated in GSoC again last year [2]. My github is not as full as I'd like it to be. Currently, these past months I've been freelancing as a Python dev and sysadmin, in the past I worked for Nokia as a SWE intern but offfices are not really appealing to me. I'm a member of hackerspace.gr and I think that's my greatest achievement. [1] github.com/luserx0 [2] luserx0.me [3] peopleperhour.com/freelancer/harry/software-developer-and-sysadmin/1914128 Is the project still on the table? If so, could you pinpoint me to further resources? Would you like me to pass a test before submitting my proposal draft? Hi Harry, project is still available. application deadline is not yet reached. About further resources I suggest ones in gsoc project [1]. About testing is not for us, but also for you to see if it is something you are interested in, as you spend some time on it. How to get hands dirty is also at [1] at the bottom. I suggest if you have the change done to open pull request and assign as reviewer me and lslezak and we will discuss with you changes if makes sense and also some minor stuff that is good to set at the beginning like coding style and level of comments.
