Just for your information, we have a new class in yast2 to simplify the development of installation screens. It's a specialization of the already existing UI::Dialog and can be found here. http://www.rubydoc.info/github/yast/yast-yast2/UI/InstallationDialog As you can see in that documentation, defining new dialogs for installation is quite clean.
