[yast-devel] Fwd: Re: [opensuse-gnome] Accessibility Regression in 12.3
Im passing this on as suggested below. It regards an accessibility regression I discovered in YaST for Opensuse 12.3, GNOME edition. I use the orca screen reader to render the GNOME display as synthesized speech. When trying to use YaST, I find that Orca is silent when I focus on one of the panels, for instance, Software Management; any panel shows this behavior. Speech for other applications is not effected. Hi,
I find that YaST is no longer accessible, using the orca screen reader. I can log in and choose a group, for instance, Mail Server, with accessibility. The chosen group is inaccessible, however. I still have access to running apps, e. g. the top level of YaST. All of this was accessible in 12.2.
Thanks,
