Im passing this on as suggested below. It regards an accessibility regression I discovered in YaST for Opensuse 12.3, GNOME edition. I use the orca screen reader to render the GNOME display as synthesized speech. When trying to use YaST, I find that Orca is silent when I focus on one of the panels, for instance, Software Management; any panel shows this behavior. Speech for other applications is not effected.
