[yast-devel] openSUSE 11.3 installer and LXDE
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi list, i'm not (yet) a developer, but i would like to ping who of you work on yast2 DVD installer. openSUSE_11.3 will provide (finally) the new DE called LXDE [1] coolo already putted it on the DVD [2] i wonder if any of you could begin to add the "lxde option" to DE selection during installation, it should go under "other" like xfce. That because is really important for us to test as soon as possible how that new DE work with a clean installation and how eventually improve patterns. For any information you need, i'm here, just ask! Hi, Adding new desktop is mainly about adding another entry into openSUSE YaST control file. Required pieces of information are described here: http://forgeftp.novell.com/yast/doc/SLES11/tdg/inst_in_general_chap.html#con... So, what is actually required for adding new entry there: 1.) package/s required for installation 2.) patterns required for installation 3.) desktop to start 4.) logon manager 5.) name displayed in the dialog Bye Lukas - -- Lukas Ocilka, Novell, Appliances Dep. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD4DBQFLYAUbVSqMdRCqTiwRAsMEAJ9IdiIHzKQNgmasu/Ukxn07Uc30fACXW78e aynCob/VS6gZ3uIewcwaLQ== =onfR -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
