[yast-devel] Branching SLE-15-SP2 today at 16:00 CEST (14:00 UTC)
Hello! Today I'll create the SLE-15-SP2 maintenance branch from master for all YaST and libyui packages. I'll start around 16:00 CEST (14:00 UTC). Because there are so many packages it will take some time, I'll let you know when it's done. Ah, that will actually send the change as an SP2 maintenance update... So use the "rake osc:commit" command which sends the package to the Devel:YaST:SLE-15-SP2 project. Then create the SR to SP2 manually with osc ("osc -A https://api.suse.de sr Devel:YaST:SLE-15-SP2 <package> SUSE:SLE-15-SP2:GA"). Or for now (!) you can use the "sle_latest" target which still points to the SP2:GA ("YAST_SUBMIT=sle_latest rake osc:sr"). Hi, today I notice that yast2-bootloader missing two versions in SLE15 SP2. It is probably caused by failing job in internal jenkins. It is found by QA that bug is still not fixed. How to prevent it for next time? I propose that part of branching job should be also manual check that all jobs that submits packages succeed.
