No sub-second resolution in the timestamp?
This is crucial for syncing some things like e.g. the installation macro. Only seconds are just not precise enough; a lot of things happen within one second.
Indeed, higher precision has been missing for about a decade, see https://github.com/yast/yast-core/blob/master/liby2util-r/src/y2log.cc#L230. Unfortunately changing the time format breaks the old testsuite that greps with regexs in the logs (or something just as mad). ciao Arvin -- Arvin Schnell, <aschnell@suse.com> Senior Software Engineer, Research & Development SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: yast-devel+owner@opensuse.org
