There was a patch to Xorg 6.8.1 from Gentoo that added support for using the Linux event mechanism for mouse support. Does anyone know if this was added to 6.8.2? I manually patched my 6.8.1 so as to better support my Logitech mouse. The event mechanism allows me to use more of the buttons. I have the MX1000 mouse which is considered a 12 button mouse. -Aaron

No, the support for it was not added to X.Org 6.8.2.
