Just installed 10.1 along side my existing 10. This really is getting frustrating. I attempted to configure my dual head system from within YaST, but again, no luck. I tried using my previous 10.0 xorg.conf file and again no luck. Upgrade from 9.3 to 10.0 required a complete reconfiguration to get my dual head working again. Now I'm trying to go from 10 to 10.1 and it looks like I'm in the same shape. So anyone know what's changed? 9.3 was a working xinerama configuration. 10 required a merged framebuffer configuration. So what does 10.1 want? Try using "radeonold" or "radeon10b" driver (recommended: radeon10b). radeon driver has regressions. :-( Best regards, Stefan Public Key available ------------------------------------------------------ Stefan Dirsch (Res. & Dev.) Would that be with the merged framebuffer or the xinerma solution? -- Until later, Geoffrey Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both. - Benjamin Franklin
