[opensuse-xorg] X11:/Xorg drm/intel: a bug while switching a terminal
Dear all, There is a bug in the last versions of X11:/Xorg driver (currently xf86-video-intel, libdrm*-2.4.39-94.1) there is a bug described (and SOLVED!) in "https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55446". Namely, after I have started a second X terminal (:1) and then closed it, the X server crashes (together with the :0 terminal) with the "intel(0): drmSetMaster failed: Invalid argument" error in the log file. There is a patch "https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=67851" that has soled the problem in that freedesktop bug report. I guess the version of the drm driver in the repository X11:/Xorg miss to contain the patch. Hope, somebody from the X11:/Xorg team pay attention to this bug. Sorry, I missed the xf86-video-intel version: 2.20.9-32.2 On 12.10.2012 15:44, Michael Lashkevich wrote:

Hey Michael, that patch is not in 2.20.9. It actually is the first commit after the release of 2.20.9. I'll try to send in an snapshot version to X11:XOrg with this patch included, but i don't know if it will be accepted! Anyway it looks like it will be in 2.20.10.
