Re: [suse-xfree86] ATI Radeon 9600 driver problem

(EE) fglrx(0): [agp] unable to acquire AGP, error "xf86_ENODEV" (EE) fglrx(0): cannot init AGP
IF the situation is still the same as a few month ago, fglrx modules does its own AGP management. So, if you happen to have the kernel AGP module loaded, it doesn't work. That said, I was sure SUSE kernels didn't work with fglrx due to the REGPARAM configuration option in the kernel. Did you compile your own kernel, or do things have changed? Ciao, Roberto

I have the standard kernel updated by YOU. And I suppose the drivers should normally work with that as they did already before I rebooted. Greetings P.J. -- ---------------------------- Peter-Josef Meisch Mail: pjmeisch@web.de ----------------------------
