I don't think so. Where can I find the announcement? Currently I don't plan to build RPMs for SuSE 9.1. But you can try to rebuild the Source RPM as already some users did with the Release candidates. I heard of it on Slashdot. I also see it on http://www.x.org. Here is a link to the announcement. http://www.x.org/XOrg_Press_Releases/X11R6.8.2.html I would try to build from the Source RPM. But, the source rpm in supplementary are 6.8.2 RC3 right now. Osho

Meanwhile I did find it as well. It's interesting that there was no announcement at all on the X.Org developpers list ... Regarding SuSE 9.1 rpms: If there is enough interests that multiple users are building from release candidate RPMs then it would be nice if SuSE provided rpms themselves. We all understand that they won't be supported. Hey, 6.8.1 are not supported for 9.1 right now (they are in supplementary) and I have had no trouble with them ever. -- Osho

Sure, at this time 9.1 was up-to-date and I was able to test it on my machine at home. Now 9.2 is up-to-date and I can test it again on my machine at home. Trying to build for older versions always means build workarounds and runtime compatibility stuff you will never get rid of again. Just think of things like package "Provides" ... Well, I will give it a try to build from the SRPMs once they are uploaded.. Osho
