Hello, how do I install Xorg on a Suse 9.1 system? Xfree was installed first place. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/XFree86/Xorg/Xorg-2004-03-18/i386/suse91/README tells: This version is alreaday shipped with SuSE 9.1 However yast doesn't find any package named xorg on the installation medias. So inside yast I can't unselect XFree86 and replace it with Xorg. So following the Readme ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/XFree86/Xorg/Xorg-X11R6.8.1-untested/i386/suse91/README I should do "* Update your X.Org installation with "rpm -Uhv *.rpm". Is that the way to go? Yast and RPM are smart enough to realize that xorg replaces xfree. (it's written somewhere in the rpm-files).
