Hi group, Anyone having experience with the (new?) Matrox P650 Graph card under SuSE? Or does anyone knows if the Dual-Head functionality is supported under SuSE 10? I tried it under 9.3 with the driver from MAtrox, but my Monitor keeps barfing "Out of Range" while the values in xorg.conf are correct.. Hate to leave such a good card gathering dust... -- Peter M. Hello I am a little uncertain - what do you mean with new? P650? I have one with 64 Mb ram app 2 years old. It runs with dual-head under 9.3 in an AMD64 machine - installed in 32bit. :-( the driver cannot compile in 64bit environment. I don't remember if I had it working in dual-head in my (test) 10.0rc1 - I was mostly interested in the 64bit. Regarding your barfing-problem - I had a lot of problems at all installing the driver, but when it finaly came through, it works great. But the 64bit problem am I trying to solve with a ATI9250 based card. It's the latest chip they have submitted information on for the GPL drivers - as far as I know. -- mvh Mogens Jæger

Hello
Hi

Yeah. That's the one. New to me, that is.. ;)

Ooooh? Ok? With what type of Monitor? My IIYama ProLite E481S is the one that barfs :) (The other one is a Sony SDM-M61 but didn't do anything.... yet.)
But the 64bit problem am I trying to solve with a ATI9250 based card. It's the latest chip they have submitted information on for the GPL drivers - as far as I know.
I'm afraid I can't help you with that. Still 32 Bit here on NVidia... Until the Matrox starts working... :| Just for my information. Is it possible to post your xorg.conf? So I can compare with my own?

Mine first is a vx700, the second is a G90f+, both Viewsonic.
