[opensuse-xorg] 11.1 and new ORG
Hello, can any tell me the procedure to start Xorg / KDE4.3 on a 11.1 with the new xorg packets from repository ? mmh, that take me wonder ... It seems that you your X is not starting propperly .. you can start you server on the commandline like thos ? X :1 if this works you will see some gray screen. if you can not see anything it is possible that your configuration/driver is totaly broken. if you see "gray" switch to an other terminal screen and use: xterm -display :1 that will give you an Xterminal with your X session. if that works your X startup needs to befixed but your system is working. re, wh
