Hello all I have a Matrox P650 lying somewhere, waiting for driver support under the 2.6.x kernel. I had it running under 2.4.x = SuSE9.0, but since I installed the 2.6.x = SuSE9.2, I have changed back to the old Matrox G550. I am using two monitors - one TFT and one CRT in merged mode, and it works great, but too little RAM = to few colours. I have seen on the Matrox forum, that it is a known issue, that their driver (dated dec.2003) is not working with kernel 2.6.x, and that someone has made a patch that should do it, but nothing for a novice (patch-novice anyway) like me.
