Hi I'd like to turn up the logging levels of kdm, normally (in other linuxes) I'd edit /etc/inittab to look something like x:5:respawn:/opt/kde/bin/kdm -debug 8 -nodemon where in suse 9.0pro can I set this? thanks Dave

Start by looking in the /etc/init.d/xdm script. that's the one that starts up kdm. -Chris
