i have not figured out how to make this work in KDE.
Currently the other wheel mearly reverses the direction of the verticle scrooling performed by the clickwheel.

There are some interesting things mentioned on this page: http://koala.ilog.fr/colas/mouse-wheel-scroll/ Where it talks about configuring mice with even 5 buttons!
