I've already tried several things, Buttons to 6, ZAxisMapping from 3 4 to 5 6, other protocols, no success:-(
I am using a Logitech "Optical Wheelmouse".
Has anyone a hint, what I can do?
Your config looks good - and everything works as expected here. I would like to track down this problem: Could you please check the log file of the Xserver (on 9.2 it should be /var/log/Xorg.0.log) for a line like: (--) Mouse0: PnP-detected protocol: "ExplorerPS/2"? If it contains something else than ExplorerPS/2 the mouse has gotten misdetected. Also could you switch to a text console, log in as root, do 'cat /dev/input/mice' move the mouse a little bit and then (without moving the mouse) turn the weel? Do you see output while you turn the weel? Egbert.
