Hi I bought a ATEN (http://www.aten.com.tw) multimonitor switch in order to have multiple PCs on one screen. Then I connected my Suse 9.3 box , which was connected over the DVI port of the grafics card, to the switch an the trouble began. The Mouse and keyboard are recognised as follows. input: USB HID v1.00 Keyboard [ATEN CS-1734A V1.2.113] on usb-0000:00:10.1-2.1 input: USB HID v1.00 Mouse [ATEN CS-1734A V1.2.113] on usb-0000:00:10.1-2.1 Some facts: a) If I boot and the LCD is only connected over the VGA port. 1) Its still possible to use Virtual Text consoles over the kb/mouse/monitor switch. 2) virtual console 7 is just blank over VGA cable (which should the xdm login) b) If i boot and the LCD is connected over the DVI Port everything is fine. So the question is: *What is nec. in order to get X11 working over the analog port ?
