I have the same problem with Intel GM45 with the latest packages from the repo. Now I downgrade to oss-repo version, well with the same problem with you. It worked before using the version mention on http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19242#c48 and http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19242#c54 regards, medwinz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for the explanation. I update it again an it works. There is a small problem with my KDE 4.2.1 installation though. If I try to play with cube from kwin, then the compositing is off and caused the desktop effect stops. It is not happen with oss version. regards, medwinz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+help@opensuse.org

Sounds like what has happen to me. I have an nvidia GeForce 8600 GT. I'm using the nvidia drivers from the nvidia repo as well as a MacBookPro with an ATI X1600 using radeonhd. Have you tried downgrading the xorg-x11-driver-video and xorg-x11-driver- video-radeonhd to the RPMs in the openSUSE 11.1 OSS repo? That's what I did on my MacBookPro and it works. These are the RPMs I have to downgrade: xorg-x11-server xorg-x11-driver-input xorg-x11-driver-video xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd Those 4 rpms come from the OSS repo. I have commented on this bug that I am experiencing the same problem. I have included the Xorg.0.log, xorg.conf and the various --changeleg output mentioned in the above URL.
