Problems using X and VNC
Hi, I'll appreciate some help about this. I am running my X server on VT7 (Suse 10.0). Also, I have a VNC server running on VT0 using this command: /usr/local/bin/real_vnc/Xvnc :0 -rfbauth=$HOME/.vnc/passwd The problem is I am trying to get my desktop on VT7 remotely using a vncviewer from another machine and I am getting a blank screen that is not my X server running on Vt7. How can I get my Vt7 X desktop from my remote machine? thanks, regards

You cannot have two Xservers running for the same display. I guess your Xserver on VT7 is already running on :0. If you want to access this one by vnc, you should disable the Xvnc (which is a virtual Xserver) and enable vnc in the regular Xserver by sax2.
