SuSE 9 : can't get my monitor to work

Hi all, I've got SuSE 9 and want to set up my monitor on it. I have a SCEPTRE D50X 15 inch and the companie doesn't provides linux driver. I was on RedHat 9 and had the same problem. With this distribution, I use the 'Generic svga' driver that comes with it. But, in SuSE 9, I don't see a generic driver. How can I solve this problem ??? Could it be the color resolution ???
