[opensuse-xorg] Can I find/build PCF fonts for 300 dpi?

My applications uses ImageMagick; in particular, it renders text at 300 DPI. The rendering process is slow because IM does not cache bitmaps. Is there a way to pre-render PCF bitmaps for later use at 300 DPI?
