What is the status of the Mach64 DRM kernel module for SL-10.1? I can't seem to find out anything about it's current status anywhere! I don't see it in either the Xorg 6.9 (xorg-x11-6.9.0-50.17) or kernel 2.6.16.21 (kernel-default-2.6.16.21-0.13) binary or source RPMs. Where or with whom may I check this? Interestingly, in upgrading from 9.2 to 10.1, I notice that 9.2 had the kernel module but not the Xorg driver whereas in 10.1 it is the other way around. Any help would be appreciated. I know, that this is offtopic question, but why mach64 isn't supported?
Expect to see a mach64 DRI driver in SUSE 10.1, but if you'll also see the required DRM kernel module in 10.1 depends on the upstream kernel sources ...
