ATI Radeon IGP 345M

Dear list users, I've just bought a Compaq Armada nx9010 with an ATI Radeon IGP 345M. I can't make it work properly in my SuSE with 2.4.20 kernel and XFree86-4.3.0-15 I found XFree86 modules for this device eccessible from http://www.suse.de/en/private/download/xfree86/index.html but couldn't make them work. At the moment of executing Sax2 the screen slowly became white and it was not possible to do anything. How can I build that modules? Thank you very much.
