What is the status of the Mach64 DRM kernel module for SL-10.1? I can't seem to find out anything about it's current status anywhere! I don't see it in either the Xorg 6.9 (xorg-x11-6.9.0-50.17) or kernel 2.6.16.21 (kernel-default-2.6.16.21-0.13) binary or source RPMs. Where or with whom may I check this?
Interestingly, in upgrading from 9.2 to 10.1, I notice that 9.2 had the kernel module but not the Xorg driver whereas in 10.1 it is the other way around.
Any help would be appreciated.
Well, obviously the support for Mach64 cards has been dropped from upstream kernel. Therefore I suggest to compile the Mach64 DRM module yourself. You can find the sources for it in the libdrm Source RPM. Best regards, Stefan

I know, that this is offtopic question, but why mach64 isn't supported?
Expect to see a mach64 DRI driver in SUSE 10.1, but if you'll also see the required DRM kernel module in 10.1 depends on the upstream kernel sources ...
