please post any progress in that case to this list, so i can see if it make sense for me to give xorg 7.1 another try.... because right now i am used to use xgl/compiz and i love it and i won't miss it.
and what about the latest xgl/compiz updates from http://software.opensuse.org/download/Compiz-Quinn/ ?
are they incompatible with your xorg7.1 packages from http://software.opensuse.org/download/xorg7/Java_Sun-Java-1.5_SUSE_Linux_10.... ?
I don't know about them. But I don't think that the Compiz-Quin Xgl packages are already adjusted to X.Org 7.
thats a pity, because the Compiz-Quinn-packages are the best, most stable, fastest and feature-richest versions of compiz/xgl. maybe we should tell cyberorg about this issue? so you both could exchange information, so that both products could be compatible to each other..... and then someone (for instance i ;-) can install BOTH products together! -- einen schönen Tag noch DI Rainer Klier Abteilung IT - Entwicklung ECOLOG Logistiksysteme GmbH Bauernstraße 11, A-4600 Wels Tel. ++43/7242/66200 Fax ++43/7242/66200-200 mailto:kra@ecolog.at http://www.ecolog.at
