[opensuse-xfce] Making openSUSE Documenation Easily Accessible

We (the Documenation Team) is thinking about making openSUSE Docs easily accessible on the xfce desktop. What do you think about adding an "openSUSE Documentation" menu entry to the "openSUSE" menu of the panel? Maybe, above "Log Out"? This link could open a documentation landing page with the default browser. Would it be enough to drop a .desktop file somewhere? -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, that sounds sensible.
Would it be enough to drop a .desktop file somewhere?
I'd like to have some form of l10n, so that would require a bit more. I've noted that there is still an old ref open at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=688348 , lets discuss the technical details there. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org
