Do I need to start any GNOME service in Xfce session?
the most important thing it does is to enable gnome-keyring, if you don't need that you can probably leave it off. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org

Hello. I found independent settings for gnome-keyring: http://susepaste.org/view/simple/65911569 And it is running: % ps -ef | grep "gnome-keyring" kent 1626 1 0 10:48 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=ssh -- WBR Kyrill

No, that is not sufficient, gnome-keyring sets some environment variables which xfce4-session must know and that only works if you enable GNOME compatibility mode. If you just use autostart gnome-keyring may be running but applications will not be aware of it. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org
