[opensuse-xfce] libxfce4ui-2 in xfce4-vala
Hello openSUSE XFCE team, I'm trying to compile xfmpc against GTK3 and libxfce4ui-2. I need the Vala bindings for this but noticed that in the official Tumbleweed repos xfce4-vala only contains bindings for libxfce4ui-1. Is this a known (or even intended) limitation? If so, could anyone advise on the best way for me to get the bindings for libxfce4ui-2 onto my system without interfering with official packages? Apologies if this is a dumb question or not the right place to ask. I'm still fairly new to openSUSE and would be grateful for any pointers into the right direction. :) Thanks, Johannes -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org
Hi! You can grab the newest xfce4-vala or libxfce4ui-2 from the X11:xfce:rat repo. This is the testing repo of unstable 4.13 branch of Xfce. The newest vala bindings are also packaged there. xfce4-vala: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/X11:xfce:rat xfce4-valahttps://build.opensuse.org/package/show/X11:xfce:rat/xfce4-vala libxfce4ui: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/X11:xfce:rat/libxfce4ui Have fun! Hi Maurizio, Aha, I didn't know about the rat repo (great name btw :D). Looks like this contains what I need. Gonna try it out in a VM. Thanks a lot, Johannes On 2/6/19 4:29 AM, Maurizio Galli (MauG) wrote:

:-). Feel free to contribute xfmpc to the repo if you wish. Maurizio Galli (MauG) On Thu, Feb 7, 2019 at 3:22 AM Johannes Marbach <n0-0ne+opensuse@mailbox.org> wrote:
