[opensuse-xfce] Compton Question

Hi guys! I'm using compton for compositing. I have a question regarding it, though: When i setup compton to autostart, do i have to diasble the default compositing manager? I made the .compton.conf file and added compton -b to autostart. I'm asking because sometimes, randomly, compton won't autostart, but it defaults to the existing compositing. Thanks and kind regards. Keep up the terrific work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nenad Latinović nenad@latinovic.info -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org

yes, you should to disable compositing in xfwm4 if running an external compositing manager (in "Window Manager Tweaks" -> "Compositor" uncheck "Enable display compositing"). -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org
