Hi there, I'm in the process of upgrading my remaining Leap 15.1 systems to XFCE 4.16. For those packages which are failing (pragha and tumbler) I've created branched packages in my own home project (home:manfred-h:X11:xfce). There is one package "exo" in the X11:xfce repo, which needs to be rebuild once - reason being, it is a left-over which got built over a week ago, but which should have been picked up and rebuild since. Here are the details: <https://build.opensuse.org/package/binary/X11:xfce/exo/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/x86_64/exo-lang-4.16.0-lp151.133.1.noarch.rpm> exo-lang requires a symbol "exo = 4.16" which gets nowhere defined. The branched, not changed package in my home repo doesn't show this issue, and can be installed therefore: <https://build.opensuse.org/package/binary/home:manfred-h:X11:xfce/exo/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/x86_64/exo-lang-4.16.0-lp151.135.2.noarch.rpm> It correctly requires "libexo-2.0" and nothing else. Can someone please trigger a rebuild of package exo for Leap 15.1 ? <https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries/X11:xfce/exo/openSUSE_Leap_15.1> TIA, cheers. l8er manfred

I did that now, but please keep in mind that Leap 15.1 will fall out of support at the end of the month and we won't keep the repo around forever. -- Marcel Kühlhorn <tux93@opensuse.org>

I know, and that's why I'm currently trying to get it as consistent as it is possible now ;) Cheers. l8er manfred

Forgot a thanks for the trigger, but this is very strange: the newly built package still requires "exo = 4.16", while nothing in the .spec file gives an indication why. I'll continue with my branched and unchanged package ;) Cheers. l8er manfred

can you please just disable the repo and leave the packages built until then available for some time? TIA, cheers. l8er manfred

Haven't talked to the others but I don't think we want that. X11:Xfce is a development OBS project and not intended to be used in regular installations either way. So to avoid any unwanted surprises I recommend you just branch the whole X11:Xfce project to your home project. This would give you full control. vinz.
