1. be so gnomish as possible because it's "nicer": as Xubuntu do (file roller instead of squeeze...). I do not prefer this option. Neither do I. I say both ways are bad. Fighting for no gnome, but I
2008/6/27 Pavol Rusnak <prusnak@suse.cz>: think gnome is more familiar with xfce then qt4.
BTW sending dependencies for gdm package (see no gnome there, seems more like gtk for me). libgnomecanvas.so There's gnome in name but I find that library more like gtk, then gnome. It is also used by zenity or gajim.
I was told that gnome could start using gconf. And I think another displaymanager option is not bad. I also use gdm with Xfce, though.
gnome-themes Are there really in need? I cannot see that in debian package... http://packages.debian.org/etch/gdm I think gdm-themes are more needed.
I will ask gnome-maintainers.
Two other things: 1) http://labs.trolltech.com/page/Projects/Styles/GtkStyle for qt4 (see screenshot)
This is really great! I packaged it in BuildService X11:xfce project - package qgtkstyle.
2) where's image viewer? what about ristretto?
Ristretto is in BuildService X11:Xfce project and also in distribution (read official openSUSE FTP), however it is not present on media (read CD, DVD). -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o Package Maintainer Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9, CR prusnak[at]suse.cz http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+help@opensuse.org
