Re: [opensuse-wiki] small favor please,
You are right. It was the first thing that came to my mind. However, if there are no links to that page, he could delete it and start over.

Hi, I don't know if it is the best solution, but you could try copying and pasting the content into the new one. Once you are done, delete the old one.
Hi Javier, the easiest way to rename is using Move. It will create redirect from old page to new. That way if somebody already linked to the old name it will be not dead link. -- Regards, Rajko http://en.opensuse.org/Portal needs helpful hands. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
Thank you all. With all of your suggestions , the most I could effect was to cut from one and paste to the other, leaving the original blank. Not sure if this will remove the page but...... James Javier Llorente wrote:

No, it would not. After copy and paste it can be easily recreated from page history. The other option 'move' can be reverted. We use template {{delete}} to mark pages that have to be deleted, but Lars has admin rights and can remove page completely. -- Regards, Rajko http://en.opensuse.org/Portal needs helpful hands. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
