[opensuse-wiki] titled-click
Hi, Template:Titled-click expands to: <div style="position: relative; width: {{{width}}}; height: {{{height}}}; overflow: hidden"> <div style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; font-size: 100px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 100px; z-index: 3">[[{{{link}}}|<span title="{{{title}}}"> </span>]]</div> <div style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 2">[[Image:{{{image}}}|{{{width}}}|{{{title}}}]]</div> </div> This is used within Template:Pdf to show the nice pdf icon for the file download link. I admit that I'm a bit old-fashioned, but could someone explain to me why a simple <img> within a simple <a> won't do the trick anymore? ;-) This particular construct doesn't work in Konqueror - which probably qualifies as a bug, but I still would like to know why this code has to be that complicated. thanks, Sonja -- Sonja Krause-Harder (skh@suse.de) Research & Development SUSE Linux Products GmbH --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-help@opensuse.org

works for me in the dowload area, may be it's not exactly the same template (to clic on disk images) in mediawiki images are not clickable that way a clic on an image gives the image page, not the link target. reading mediawiki doc one can see no solution is without problems. The daowload page one seems quite good? jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-help@opensuse.org

You mean the link you created doesn't work, or any of the links (like the CD image) on the Download page don't work? I can not take credit for creating the monstrosity, it came from Wikipedia (template of the same name). And as Jdd said, it is to get around the image linking limitation in WikiMedia. But before we go and use it everywhere, we should make sure that it does work sufficiently well. And that would have to be all browsers shipped with SUSE including the text ones. And of course IE.
