NavBar is a template that is used to build navigation bars for a specific topic. Those navigation bars itsself are templates again, for example http://wiki.opensuse.org/Template:WikiGuidelinesNav The full list of navbars on wiki.o.o is: http://wiki.opensuse.org/index.php?title=Special:WhatLinksHere&target=Templa... With CategoryTree, it should also be possible to build a self-updating navigation bar based on a category (as soon as the technical issues are fixed). However, I'm not sure if this would really make sense since the resulting navbars would just have alphabetic sorting. This probably isn't what we want. I guess we need more "logical" sorting, something like "step 1", "step 2", "step 3" or "most important first". The category tree can be applied when order is not important, as it saves a lot of work on article list maintenance. On the other hand, sooner or later, we will have to start creating bots for routine tasks and then navigation bars update will be lesser of the problem. -- Regards Rajko, openSUSE Wiki Team: http://en.opensuse.org/Wiki_Team People of openSUSE: http://en.opensuse.org/People_of_openSUSE/About -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
