[opensuse-wiki] The front page redesign.
I have published image with some ideas how to simplify navigation and better use the space, by grouping seldom used links, adding more common names etc. I would like to hear your opinions (here or article discussion page). What? :-) My glasses are little bit blurred today.

Do you mean to set menu position according to activity i.e. number of visits? I'll try that too. What I would like is to have this in my local wiki, see how it works, make few alternatives and than just announce that source is ready. Anyone with advice, how to set wiki to act as opensuse.org one? -- Regards, Rajko. I've seen that before and added that it could be part of Toolbox. For that I have to find out (learn) how to customize the skins in Mediawiki.

Still looking for :-)

The problem is that I don't know how to transfer SUSE skin to another wiki server. I'll try to see with mediawiki that I run in my home LAN first, than I can mail you files that you can install. -- Regards, Rajko. ask Beineri? this is a *.skin file, not accessible outside the server (not only a css) I'll try to see with mediawiki that I run in my home LAN

if you have a home mediawiki, you are as well fitted as I am :-) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki-help@opensuse.org

The only difference is that I can't let it out with present Internet access account.

I stumbled over this: http://actsofvolition.com/archives/2005/september/wikiaswebsite Look at Hula, Mono and Beagle wikis and tell me isn't that something that we can use, specially Main page space usage of Mono project. All is there in almost single screen. start :: use :: contribute Not many words and it is all perfectly clear. Only logo and 4 icons of graphic. Looks much as a normal web page, but it is wiki! Hula is similar, just too much space is used for graphic at the top. Is nice, but the average screen is still 1024x768. Here is one more: http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Desktop_Project -- Regards, Rajko.
