[opensuse-wiki] Wiki translations
Today I started to mark RO translations for deletion as they are mostly out of date, but then reverted all that. They should go and they should stay, depends what criteria one uses. There is not way that we can have many translations without large teams covering many articles, so what to do with people that want to translate only download and installation articles, to make some friends going with openSUSE, or some article that talks about some setup problem/solution, that is targeted to very small group of users? IMHO, we should allow them. It will help spreading the word about openSUSE, without need to grow old trying to decipher internals of our wiki design. It is simple for insiders, but when one has to translate something it is steep learning first, then if you have time left you can translate too. One namespace for that, call it translations, one article in Main that will index all other in translation namespace. Title as it is now: <lang code>-English Title First section translated title [[Category:<lang code>]] or similar -- Regards, Rajko openSUSE Wiki Team: http://en.opensuse.org/Wiki_Team People of openSUSE: http://en.opensuse.org/People_of_openSUSE/About -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
