[opensuse-wiki] uploading images fails
can anyone tell me why I keep getting this error: Upload error # The file you uploaded seems to be empty. This might be due to a typo in the file name. Please check whether you really want to upload this file. I am jsut trying to upload a PNG and it isn't empty. LOL -- James A. Konqueror here. I wanted to update one image, and whatever I did it would show old images. At the end I have 2 uploads and 1 reversal. * (del) (cur) 00:18, 17 April 2009 . . Konqueror here.
Please check if you have read permissions on the file you want to upload. For whatever reason, Konqueror (at least in KDE3) does not warn about "permission denied", but uploads an empty file... (Testing this in current KDE4 and opening a bugreport if this behaviour is still reproducable might be a good idea ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz -- Thema: Selbsthilfegruppe Linux für Nicht-Informatiker "In der ersten Sitzung wird besprochen: 'Hilfe, ich habe ein Handbuch gelesen, statt Informatik zu studieren ... und...
