The pt wiki is open to all Portuguese and Brazillian people (already announced here on this mailinglist) like Wikipedia are. If you want to collaborate with us, you are extremely welcomed. Please drop me a line if you want to. I really think that isn't necessary have two separate wiki's (the pt_BR and pt) since they are too close to each one (ok, a few words aren't but is it really necessary?!). Joining the force we could create a great wiki, don't you agree?

I strongly agree with you. But I've been working with open-source since 2001 and during this time, the biggest complain I hear is that the software is pt instead of pt-br. OpenOffice is a great example. Until the pt-br version was not released, the language was the major obstacle to its addoption. I, by myself, would be very happy if we could have a single language.
