[opensuse-wiki] Website is broken in IE7
Flame all you want about its borken factor, but most of windows users that are gonna consider moving to SUSE will do so from an IE7 browser, someone that don't know what he want gotta have a hard time to figure our something out of http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version , There is no url and those box are broken. Would be a good idea to fix those. (unless cutting out 90% of the market out sound like a good idea) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

dunno if it's related, but with IE _6_ on wine (install described on one of the forums here), the disk icons appears briefly then are no more visible. however I have no problem on a real XP box with nearly the same IE. as the wine version have also problems with CSS, I don't know if it's IE related or wine related jdd -- http://www.dodin.net Votez pour nous, merci - vote for us, thanks :-) http://musique.sfrjeunestalents.fr/artiste/Magic-Alliance/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

I will have a look at it tomorrow (provided I can get access to an IE 7 installation). Marcus, does the latest MediaWiki version include css fixes for IE7? -- Tschau Frank -- Frank Sundermeyer, SUSE LINUX GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg Tel: +49-911-74053-0, Fax: +49-911-7417755; http://www.suse.de/ Reality is always controlled by the people who are most insane Dogbert --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
