[opensuse-wiki] http://wiki.opensuse.org/ still onine and editable !?
Moin, it looks like http://wiki.opensuse.org/ still is online and editable. I guess this shouldn't be the case, right? I almost edited stuff there as my browser of course remembered the pages I used over the last weeks.
It should be noted that the old wiki did NOT move to http://wiki.opensuse.org. Rather, it was moved to http://old-en.opensuse.org. As for wiki.o.o, it is now an alias for http://en.opensuse.org.
wiki.o.o is now an alias for en.o.o so that links to the transition wiki still work, and noone edits in the wrong wiki ;-) The old wiki is still available at old-en.opensuse.org Greetings -- Thomas Schmidt (tom [at] opensuse.org) openSUSE Boosters Team "Don't Panic", Douglas Adams (1952 - 11.05.2001) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

Hehe. Would it help against human imperfection, if we had a pointer to old-en on the welcome page of our wiki? cheers, JW- -- o \ Juergen Weigert paint it green! __/ _=======.=======_ <V> | jw@suse.de back to ascii! __/ _---|____________\/ \ | 0911 74053-508 __/ (____/ /\ (/) | _____________________________/ _/ \_ vim:set sw=2 wm=8 SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) "You are trying to use packages from project 'openSUSE:11.2'. Seriously. I'd appreciate info about the switch on the frontpage. This would make people aware that things are currently more in flux than usual. For that, and also for sake of the panicing person who believes that something got deleted. The search engine page would also be a good place to backref to old-en. "Check here, for non-migrated stuff..." cheers, JW- -- o \ Juergen Weigert paint it green! __/ _=======.=======_ <V> | jw@suse.de back to ascii! __/ _---|____________\/ \ | 0911 74053-508 __/ (____/ /\ (/) | _____________________________/ _/ \_ vim:set sw=2 wm=8 SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) "You are trying to use packages from project 'openSUSE:11.2'. For that, and also for sake of the panicing person who believes that something got deleted. Even me is slightly oppose to it. We shouldn't spoil the clean wiki front page. We agreed that at release time there are some parts missing, they will fill up and what I see just today 24h after the switch is impressive to me.
The search engine page would also be a good place to backref to old-en. "Check here, for non-migrated stuff..." Maybe some info here. But I rely here on the wiki team.
Best M
