[opensuse-wiki] Please delete /dev/null in german wiki
Hi German Wiki Admins I've misleadingly tried to delete a page which was created just as temporary solution: as on my PC I tried to move it to "/dev/null" ... But this doesn't really help, if you can see at: http://de.opensuse.org/Kategorie:Bildungswesen There is a page called /dev/null and I can't do anything to remove it :-( Can you help me, please? Thanks in advance, Lars --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

I could delete it this way: go to the move log, revert the move so you have the old name again, delete the article. But really strange that the wiki accepts /dev/null as pagename. -- with kind regards, Martin Lasarsch, Core Services SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5 90409 Nürnberg GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) martin.lasarsch@suse.de - http://www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

Indeed. IMHO it's worth a bugreport because it breaks wikis with "nice" pagetitles. Lars, since you "invented" this bug, please also open a bugreport at bugzilla.mediawiki.org. You can add a note that this still happens in 1.11, I tested on a local wiki. BTW: There is an easier way to reach this infamous page: http://de.opensuse.org/index.php?title=/dev/null&redirect=no It still has the redirect to Education/tmp2. Martin, please finally delete it using the above link ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz -- Für den Optimisten ist das Glas halb voll, für den Pessimisten halb leer.
