[opensuse-wiki] "seamless upgrade to Leap 42.3" undefined
"Users are advised to take advantage of the seamless upgrade to Leap 42.3." The above quote is taken from: https://en.opensuse.org/Release_announcement_42.3 and https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:42.3 Neither define the term "seamless upgrade". "Seamless upgrade" does not appear on: https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/42.3/ or https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:System_upgrade or https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Offline_upgrade or https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:How_to_migrate_to_a_new_openSUSE_version Google is unable to locate for me anything on opensuse.org that defines "seamless upgrade". Does anyone here know where it is defined, or what it is supposed to mean? IMO "seamless upgrade" should either be conspicuously defined, or replaced with other language. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." I guess they refer to "online update". -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

I'd second this -- there seems to be a lot of confusion concerning what is the best, officially sanctioned way of upgrading openSUSE. I once followed the "supported" upgrade instructions at https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Tumbleweed_upgrade and, when they didn't work for me, was chastised by a developer for not using the "upgrade workflow". [1] (I asked him for further details on what workflow he was talking about but received no response.) Ask about that "workflow" in the factory mail list, and ask they write it up in the wiki.
