[opensuse-wiki] durée du cache
hello I don't know how does the wiki cache work, but I notice that when I went to the wiki today, so just before registering, the last document was dated jully 27 (recent document page). I know a cache is needed, but I wonder if casual user, coming from time to time to see news, with no reason of registering, wont think nothing change in the wiki. may be a one or two days cache would be enough? thanks jdd Je sais qu'il faut un cache, mais je m'inquiète que les usagers qui viennent voir de temps en temps s'il y a du nouveau (et qui n'ont aucune -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

hm, looks ok for me now. The Recentchanges show changes up to yesterday, your User page show the last change on 27, history confirms that. Maybe i just don't understand the problem ....? -- with kind regards, ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin Lasarsch, Subsystems SUSE LINUX GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5 90409 Nuremberg martin.lasarsch@suse.de ---------------------------------------------------------------------- simply change to www.suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

my page use dynamic (?) links. may be this is this dynamic part that have problems the window (top right) still say 27 new pages and recent page abstract jully 27 these numbers change as soon as I login this is not important for my own page :-), but i beg it's the same for other wiki pages. If the counters don't update for no-login users, a casual visitor that think to follow the changes on the page won't see any change I just tried and effectively the links are only updated when the page is edited. summary: when a user is logged in (with passwd) links like this one: {{Special:Recentchanges/5}} are updated normally. if this very same page is viewed by a non logged user, the content of the page is the one of the time the page was last edited. curious. I will ask on the mediawiki list to know is this is the intended working thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
