[opensuse-wiki] Uploading Images
I haven't looked at this yet, but am passing along a request from a member of the GNOME team who wants to upload images to the wiki for some work we are doing. Apparently, he does not have rights to do so. What is the protocol for uploading images to the wiki? -- Bryen Yunashko openSUSE Board Member -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

What is the protocol for uploading images to the wiki?
Anyone with Novell account, logged in a wiki can do that, unless there is some problem with wiki, or file server. My method is to create first image link (or links): [[image:my_nice_image.png]] then save page. As there is no image that can be inserted, Mediawiki software will put on page the link itself: [[image:my_nice_image.png]] and link it to upload page. Click on that link will open upload page. Upload image, go back to article, press refresh, and image is there :-) The other method is to go to Special pages, click on Upload link. This will open the same upload page as described before. This time linking to article comes after upload. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
