You're probably refering to http://en.opensuse.org/Libzypp/Package_Management, on which WP article is based.

I found a more detailed history on wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZYpp I figure if we combine them, then we will have the complete history that the libzypp history deserves.

Having some historic related stuff with technical references is indeed a good thing imho. The other possibility is to transfer everything in Wikipedia article and to add the link in our wiki.
