this is obviously a typo in the code.
In what code openSUSE that does not translate the page (anymore?) or the file.
should the yast source code easily available (readonly) for search, you could at least have given the exact buggy line of the code, the solution you already gave
As soon as I have the information I asked for in the reply, I will give either the URL or the file with the URL.
with this the fix would take seconds.
Say the error is in /usr/share/en/somefile.txt I have no idea wether this is only on my version or e.g. also the PPC version and so on.
I only look for a way to ease the work of the programmers, not to bother them, of course.
I understand, I am also sure that they would not let me at their code and internal tools. If they do, I switch disto in a hartbeat, because that means others with the same level as I have can change stuff. I don't trust myself. :-) If I would change something and do a stupid typo, like http://en.opensuse/org instead of http://en.opensuse.org, who are the paying customers going to complain to, you think? So what would happen is that these same programmers need to check and veryfy each and every change done by individuals. And I am just talking about typo's, not even redirecting users to houghi.org or goatse or even worse, libdvdcss. Checking these things will cost the same time, if not more then jst filing a bug. Again, a very good intention, but in reality not workable, I think. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit.
